A Petition to Stop the Government from Selling the Philippines to Foreign Countries: Act Now! 

As people of the Philippines, we are constantly reminded that our country is full of natural wealth— from our lush forests and fertile farmlands to our pristine water sources. But we also see how these natural riches are being taken away and ruined in the name of “process”.

We, the people of our nation, should stand together to oppose and stop the Pax Silica project in New Clark City, in Tarlac. 

Why are we against Pax Silica in the first place? 

Here’s what you should know about the consequences of accepting the so called project: 

1. It Will Take Our Water and Electricity: The new tech center will use a huge or massive amount of powers and millions of liters of water every single day. 

2. It Will Kick Our Farmers and Indigenous People out: This project is built on the lands of our Aeta brothers and sisters and local farmers in Capas, Tarlac. 

3. It Will Destroy our Nature: The Factories will create heavy pollution and damage our forests. 

4. It Exploits our Country: Filipino scientists and citizens warn that the Philippines will only get the pollution and the damage, while big foreign companies take all the money and profits.

So, stop the project now! Help us speak up for the people. Call our leaders, including our Vice President, to break their silence and stand up against project that will possibly harm our country and people. 

Our nature is not for sale. Our water is for our people, not for foreign computers! Our land belongs to our farmers and indigenous communities.
