We all want the same: a forward-looking town worthy of the title County Town of Somerset: a town attracting high-value inward investment to the 14-acre prize site of Firepool. We want it to become a major destination for visitors and tourists, and a place that enhances the lives, health and well-being of its inhabitants. Building a new hotel on borrowed public money (£16 million), we say, is a bad idea and puts the "cart before the horse". Drive new business FIRST! So please join us at Shire Hall on the 10th!
