We’ve officially passed 1,000 signatures, and I want to thank every single one of you for your incredible support.

This is a huge milestone and shows just how strongly our community feels about the need for proper policing and a permanent Garda station in Donabate.

This morning, I sent the full petition and all signatures, along with a clear request for:

• A policing plan for Donabate
• A concrete timeline for delivering a Garda station
• Clarification on Donabate’s status in Garda planning for 2025–2027
• Any interim measures to improve safety in the meantime

The petition has been sent to the Fingal Joint Policing Committee.

I will share any response or update I receive from the Committee as soon as it comes in.
