THIS IS URGENT:
As you read this, Republicans are trying to trash the SHIELD Act without giving a reason why. The bipartisan SHIELD Act would make revenge porn illegal on the federal level. We still have a chance to pressure Congress and get them to pass this bill — but we need to act NOW. Please call Senator McConnell’s office – OR send an email to his chief counsel – as soon as possible and urge him to support this legislation and finally make revenge porn a federal crime.
