New petition calls for transparency in public inquiry

As the political context has changed dramatically and is is clear that the Minister of Labour will take no action to correct the shortcomings of his directive to the CIRB while the Industrial Inquiry Commission continues its work, the focus is now on ensuring that the public inquiry operates in a fair and transparent way.

To that end, this petition is being closed and a new petition has been started to demand that both the hearings of the Commission and the submissions it receives are made available to the public:

As the deadline for submissions is February 14 and it would be helpful to those wishing to make submissions to be able to view the initial hearings held on January 27 and 28, this is time sensitive. so please sign and share the new petition as quickly and widely as possible.
