Thankyou to everyone for taking the time to sign this petition. I know many of you have helped and worked tirelessly to promote it. We have reached more than 6200 signatures in 5 days but we do need to increase the numbers up to 10,000 at least. I think the people of Jammu Kashmir deserve this recognition and support. Remember each signatures triggers an email to the United Nations. If each signatory could recruit one person each to sign, we could double the total of this petition very easily. I have been advised that some people are having difficulties in signing. Change.org has a help section and they are fairly rapid to assist. I have kept it simple and evidence based so it is understood by everyone. We have no objections to people posting their comments under the petition. Infact, everyone should post their views and opinions. Our Facebook page is doing very well thanks to our new admin. There are three admins operating the page. One of them is me. The visit rate has been very high with 3000+ likes within four days. We aim to take this campaign to Pinterest and Instagram soon with a wonderful pictorial montage of the brave men of Kashmir. We will inform you of this in due course. We hope this will encourage the circulation of our petition as well as demonstrate the human side of Jammu Kashmir. It is important to remember that the people of Jammu Kashmir are survivors of a brutal regime. They still have hope of a better future and continue forward. We also hope to place our application to the United Nations which will contain all the main reports we have relied upon. We are still in the process of drafting it. All views and information is welcome. If we have not made it clear, this petition, the Facebook page etc serve as part of the electronic application to the United Nations Human Rights Council.
