I embarked on this journey seeking justice and remedy from a system I believed would provide it back in October 2022.

I continued my journey in October 2023 even though justice seemed more like an elusive dream.

In March 2024, I decided to seek Judicial Review of a government administrative body's decision.

In May 2024 I decided to raise constitutional questions about certain laws affecting my access to justice wrapped in that decision. That decision put me in the court room, (unrepresented, not by choice) with the Attorney General of Manitoba, The Manitoba Labour Board, my former Union, and former government employer. The system.

I started this petition back in December 2024 for public support because I am one person but there are others facing similar situations involving some of the same lawyers and systems.

It is February 2026... and I still believe that there is justice and remedy on this journey for me. No matter how things looks. Laws only change for the better when people get bold and choose to challenge them.

Self-representation isn't spontaneous; it often comes with a complex backstory and purpose. It comes with a leap of faith after all other options are gone and you deeply thirst for justice and remedy... because something just does not feel right about the laws you face denying you both, after you have been injured.

Navigating the biases associated with being unrepresented in the Civil legal system adds yet another layer of difficulty to accessing justice in a landscape that often seems very hostile to self represented persons.

Having supportive voices from everyday people, like you, truly helps.

Thank you for your much-needed support.

Please continue to share this petition and let’s reach 1000+ signatures.

We are almost there, my friends.

Thank you.
