Its wonderful to see such a great start in terms of support for this petition. It goes to show how many of us are concerned about the negative impact of the proposed recency of practice changes.

I have a favour to ask of those who have already signed. One more thing would really help.

Please head back to the petition and leave a brief comment explaining why you're signing and how these proposed changes would affect you.

If you're returning from parental leave, balancing caring responsibilities, living with chronic illness or disability, are neurodivergent, work rurally, or intentionally work part-time to practise sustainably, we'd love to hear your perspective.

Your comments will help demonstrate the real-world impact of these proposed changes when the petition is presented to the Psychology Board of Australia and other decision-makers.

Additionally, AHPRA has their own submission process that individuals can complete via a survey. If you have time and capacity, you can complete that here: https://ahpra.au1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_7UP3v3qiorC9FSC

And finally, please share the link to this petition to other psychologists in your network. Despite having all of our contact details, AHPRA has not sent out a formal notification to all psychologists currently registered, so many don't even know about these proposed changes.

Thanks again!
