We write to you with immense gratitude for your participation in this petition. We have over 1000 signatures and alot of momentum that we want to keep going. We have recently heard from Project Chimps and are examining the documents that they have sent us disputing some of the claims but not all of them. We will continue to pressure them to make the findings public and the changes swiftly, with proof and again made known to the public and not just to PC's private donors. Again, we thank you, stay tuned for further updates. If you feel compelled please write a letter.

Ali Crumpacker, Executive Director, Project Chimps  acrumpacker@projectchimps.org.

Some major concerns are as follows.

Regarding Chimp Leo's psychological episodes (seen on video)

What is done to reduce Leo’s stress level?
What is done to to change Leo’s living situation that might reduce these episodes?
What is done to document triggers, duration, or environmental factors?
Was he put on a sedative without any organized observations to go along with it?
Why does this brand new building have paint peeling off the walls, no nesting material, and no substrate on the floors?
Yes, Leo has had this problem for a while. And a sanctuary should be able to point to documentation showing if it’s gotten better/worse and what they’re doing and have done to manage it, rather than allow people to clap at him and encourage it.
Why did Kitty Block, HSUS President, write that this was Leo’s happy dance in her blog?

Thank you, please be well in mind, body and soul.
