The WV Department of Highways has extended the public comment deadline again, thanks to the law firm Appalachian Mountain Advocates.  

We're also grateful to West Virginia Highlands Conservancy for that organization's continued support. Their website has been updated with helpful information and their letter of support for an alternative route between Parsons and Davis.  Letters from other organizations, such as WV Rivers, Corridor H Alternatives, Friends of the Blackwater, and Friends of the Cheat, are also posted on the site.  To learn more and submit your comments, please visit  https://www.wvhighlands.org/highways/.

Be sure to state your objections of their “preferred” Blackwater Canyon Route by January 6, 2023. Multiple submissions are encouraged.
