Malaysia’s stray dog crisis cannot be solved through poisoning, cruelty or endless cycles of catching and killing.

Recent incidents, including the reported poisoning of approximately 50 stray dogs in Sungai Chua, highlight the urgent need for a more humane and effective approach.

We are not asking for more stray dogs. We are asking for fewer stray dogs through responsible ownership, sterilisation, stronger enforcement against abandonment and cruelty, and transparent, evidence-based policies.
