This is a petition to help 20th Century Boys receive an anime adaptation. 20th Century Boys is a manga series written by Naoki Urasawa from 1999 - 2006, which has received critical praise and has circulated over 36 million copies worldwide. It has a rating of 9.03 on myanimelist.net (as of February 12th 2016), placing it 6th on the top ranked manga list.

The reason I think an anime adaptation of 20th Century Boys is necessary is because I know that there are millions of fans of the series worldwide, including myself, who have nothing but praise for the series. The manga is nothing short of incredible and grips the reader with every chapter and is an amazing journey which every fan of fiction should embark on. The story follows Kenji Endo and his friends as they attempt to save the world from the mysterious cult known as the Friends and their leader, simply known as Friend, whose identity is unknown.

I love the series, as do most people who have read the series, so not only would the fans love an adaptaion but it would bring new fans to the series, would undoubtedly be a success and if done right, could be one of the best anime of all time. Fans of the series have been crying out for an anime adaptation, it has received 3 live-action anime adaptations, so I can't see a reason as to why it shouldn't receive an anime adaptation.
