I am in tears seeing the support for Montreal's pit bulls and all of the wonderful people of Montreal. Thank you so very much. We have 81,000 signatures opposing the pit bull ban, and we need more before Monday's ban goes into place!! But here is a video of life with Patti Smith the pit bull - a shelter dog who became a family dog. Her path could have been vastly different. She could have been forced to fight, trained to guard, left in a backyard tied up with no socialization with people or dogs, or abused. And she may have been a very different dog. Instead, she had the love of people and New Yorkers everywhere, and she loved everyone right back.
