Completely submerged by rain and tide water , is Talawe Wetlands which CIDCO claims is only a salt pan land . Millions of litres of flood water is stored in such areas and sent back to the sea when it is low tide These keep the Palm Beach from going underwater. Mr Fadnavis and his developer friends want to reclaim these lands for construction. As if Mumbai has no flooding issues already! Mumbaikars, campaign now to save the floodplains of Mumbai before it gets too late.
