Mirror Now Faye D'Souza - “Even if you are someone who has no love in your heart for environment whatsoever, you don’t care about the flamingos who fly to city once a year from across the world, your house will flood. Your habitat will be destroyed as well. It is an inevitability. It is not weather or not it will rain. Of course it will rain. Of course we will have heavy rain again in Mumbai. Not only you have destroyed the mangroves which we can never put back again. You have destroyed the habitat of the exotic birds and animals. You have destroyed your own homes. The only test now is if chief minister Devendra Fadnavis picks up the phone and says stop the dumping now and if he doesn’t do it. Either he is not informed about what’s happening right under his nose which is not ok, or he doesn’t care...which is worse. We will be watching very very closely because this is the question of life & death. Murder also happens when you destroy the environment which will directly result in people dying in flood. That is also cold blooded murder, which is happening today. ”
