In other cities like bhopal they have to make replica of flamingoes to show to children but in Navi Mumbai we are lucky to have mangroves and wetlands which are host to number of migratory birds including thousands of flamingoes . Let us on this Earth Day pledge to preserve these mangroves and wetlands and not allow them to be destroyed to make residential towers in name of golf course etc.
