No action has been taken by any authority about destruction of wetlands behind NRI Complex by mysterious draining of water by blockage of tidal water despite repeated complaints by concerned citizens. A mail by young citizen is as under : From: Surabhi Agarwal Date: Tue, Apr 10, 2018, Subject: Regarding suspicious rapid drying up of water body To: , , , , Cc: , , , , , , , , , , , Respected Sir/Ma'am, I am a resident of Seawoods and have noticed a rapid change in the lake near the Talawe wetlands, behind Vanashree Society, Sector 58. There is hardly any water body left in fact and the lake, now a dry patch, is not acting normally as it should according to tides. This is of great concern as it is also affecting all the vast variety of birds that house here, apart from the usual concern we should have towards water. It seems suspicious and seems like someone has intentionally blocked the inflow of water.  I request you to look into it immediately and take necessary action before irreparable damage is done.
