I owe all of you a huge apology for not updating you on the status quo of this petition. The cold hard facts are that we have been ignored by the Queensland attorney General who has never replied to any of my emails, also the Queensland Opposition A/G giving us false information and then there's Derryn Hinch who wrote an article, "This Is A Sick Joke" and then sits silently in Parliament ignoring all my requests to highlight this gross injustice. I also asked Derryn Hinch if Gary Brabham has been put on the Sex Offenders Register? He simply is'nt interested! What saddens me also is the Queensland Government had the perfect platform, 170'000 voices, to implement an Inquiry into the sentencing of Child Sex Offenders yet they chose to ignore it? So why has this happened? I urge you all, especially the hundreds of students who signed, to read, in full, the recent plight of a Journalist turned "Whistleblower" Shane Dowling who was sentenced to 4 months jail for contemp of court. This footage is a damning indictement on our Judicial system and leaves you with no doubt as to the depths of depravity they would stoop to cover up the corruption that exists. I ask you all to vent your anger, yet again, to all parties involved in this act of "Willful Blindness". Wilful blindness refers to the accused's state of mind. The doctrine attributes "knowledge to a party whose strong suspicions have been aroused but who refrains from making inquiries to have those suspicions confirmed.
