This was one of the best Real Time Strategy (RTS) games ever made. It has been too long since we have seen a great RTS like that of "Rise of Nations". This game was very successful and in an age where games like StarCraft II are being well accepted and the gaming community is in a RTS drought, we need something new. What would be a better candidate than that of a game that sold over 1 million copies and won RTS of the year in 2003 as well as tons of great scores from the gaming community like the 10/10 given by MaximumPC magazine. It won RTS Game of the Year from GameSpy and PC Gamer as well as GameSpot. The game mechanics in this game were that of a TRUE RTS. Sure it was similar to other RTS out at the time, but it excelled in quality and features. I, to this day, still have yet to find a RTS that captivated me in such a way. This is a true RTS and we need a new one.
