Steve Farley's excuses for not being transparent about the 250 missing animals appear to be baseless.  Poof of life and safety of all animals can be accomplished without naming the alleged "private rescue" to the public.

While Farley continues to unethically hide animals; protestors Demand Proof of Life.

This Wednesday at 11am, animal advocates will gather to protest Robert Garcia outside his office of Farhang and Medcoff in Tucson where Garcia practices law.

Chairman Garcia and his Board of Directors have authority over Steve Farley, CEO and Christian Gonzalez, CPO of HSSA, who are both embroiled in the disappearance of 250 small animals entrusted to HSSA by San Diego Humane Society (SDHS) and transported to HSSA on August 7.

Farley claims the small animals were transferred from HSSA to an unnamed family rescue in Maricopa County arriving at midnight on August 7. There is speculation the small animals consisting of rabbits, hamsters, rats, mice and guinea pigs may have been transferred to an exotic reptile business to be used as feeders for snakes and other prey animals sold there.

Gonzalez, Chief Programs Officer at HSSA, has a Python snake breeding business called Pythonidea Empire. Gonzalez is very active in the reptile industry.
He was entrusted with the lives of over 300 small prey animals in which he moved in the middle of the night to a "secret location".

Protestors are demanding Garcia find out the truth from HSSA officers and provide transparency to the community.
