In the days following the election results, I researched and wrote this petition mostly as way of pushing back against the sense of helplessness and anguish at a world gone completely mad. I posted it here even though I didn't have the money the site wanted to advertise it. I figured at least my few friends and I could sign just to say somewhere, somehow that this wasn't right. I don't know what good souls promoted it, but it has received more than 1,000 signatures in less than 12 hours. Thank you, each and every one, for standing up and speaking out. I read every single comment, the name of every town, and country. It made me cry. It made me proud. And it made me hopeful. <3
