I would like to personally thank each person that supports this cause in any way, shape or form.
This is an uphill battle with a noble purpose. Student leaders on campus have voiced their support for this cause, and our efforts will not go unnoticed. So far we’ve made ourselves known to the President and other University administrators.
I encourage everyone to use their voice. You don’t have to be the President of your club or the representative for your college to make a difference. Talk to your friends, ask for their opinions; create and participate in the dialogue respectfully. Common ground is easier to find when you actively seek it out.
Most of us cannot change policies on our own. But we CAN start the conversation, and we should. As students and young adults, we have more at stake in the future of our society than any other group. Let’s start acting like it.
