This petition is to collect signatures from community members who are looking to change Guelph for the better. These signatures are to be presented to the city of Guelph in mid-June to show that the community supports converting our city to be 100% renewable. Our personal goal is 3,000 (plus) signatures to show that the people of Guelph want to run on 100% renewable energy sources. 

We are three grade 12 students and are currently in the Headwaters program. Headwaters is an environmental leadership program that focuses on community involvement. As one of our projects, we wanted to convince the people of city hall to commit to making a plan that would make Guelph 100% renewable. We feel it is important, as our generation will experience the greater effects of climate change and this is our future.
