STOP HYDROCARBON PROJECT IN NEDUVASAL, PUDUKOTTAI, TAMILNADU

The Issue

As of today, many farmers are dying in Tamilnadu because of drought situation. Tamilnadu is a dry region with lot of water scarcity with neighboring states are not sharing any water with Tamilnadu. Under this circumstances, if hydrocarbon project is taken up in Neduvasal, pudukottai, TAMILNADU , the state will become a desert.

The full effect of this project are

1.Ground water depletion

2.Emissions and pollutions

3.Methane in drinking water

4.Hazardous environment

5.Threat to biodiversity

Places like Thanjavur and Pudukottai are famous for fertility since Chola period. Today many farmers are committing suicide in this region because of lack of water from Cauvery. So, do not please bring this project to Tamilnadu. This will make Tamilnadu a desert.

 Kindly stop this project immediately
