This petition will close on 1/10/2023.  Thanks to all 1,632 who signed supporting the goal to preserve the historic Benicia Arsenal. The campaign is expanding with 1000 Friends Protecting Historic Benicia (501c3) leading the effort to protect the Arsenal and all historical places in the community.

The City of Benicia streamline approved two SB 35 projects in August 2022 that will erase the landscape and dwarf the classic 1860-era structures in the district along Jefferson Ridge.  150 years of history will disappear.  This is not right or responsible.  A lawsuit to block this irresponsible development was filed in November 2022.  Benicia Arsenal Lawsuit Nov 22
