A POOL IS ON THE HORIZON  — and we need your help to make sure it is what this community needs! 

Because of your support, we’ve made major progress with the proposed Beach Cities Health District (BCHD) pool project as part of the Sunrise Senior Living Facility contract.

What started as a small, internal seniors-only pool is now evolving into something much bigger -- IF the board sees community support:
✔️ A larger pool that would also accommodate those with disabilities
✔️ Located in the community space outside the senior living space
✔️ Potentially open to the community for swimming lessons and lap swim - IF WE SPEAK UP!

And here’s the part that makes this opportunity especially powerful:

👉 Sunrise would fund the pool — not local taxpayers
👉 BCHD is open to making it available to the public after senior morning hours

This is exactly the kind of smart, shared-use solution Hermosa has been waiting for. 
But it will not happen without public support. 

BCHD is opening this project up for community input this Friday.

We need EIGHT people to show up and speak in support.

And you do NOT need to live in Hermosa to participate - this is a Beach Cities pool. Redondo, Manhattan, please join us.

If we show up, we demonstrate demand.
If we don’t, this opportunity could quietly shrink… or disappear, like the other three pools that have been proposed in the last two years.
