【署名の趣旨】

私たちは、子どもから大人まで誰もが安全かつ安心して利用できる公共スケートパークの逗子市内への整備を求めます。

整備に当たっては、市民、利用者、地域住民、経験者・指導者及び行政が協力し、候補地、施設内容、管理運営方法、安全対策及び騒音対策等について検討し、逗子市の自然環境や地域文化、周辺環境との調和に配慮した施設の実現を要望します。

 

陳情の理由
1.  安全に利用できる施設の不足： 逗子市には公設のスケートパークがなく、逗子第一運動公園で使用されている手作りのセクションも老朽化が進んでいるため、安全に練習できる場所が不足しています。

2.  利用しやすい環境の整備： 子どもや若者はスケートボードの練習のために市外の施設まで通う必要があり、家族にとって時間的・経済的な負担となっています。市内に施設を整備することで、誰もがより気軽に利用できる環境を実現できます。

3.  地域コミュニティの活用： 逗子市には活発なスケートボードコミュニティがあり、経験豊富なスケーターや指導者もいます。こうした地域の人材を生かし、安全な利用の促進、初心者へのサポート、世代間交流及び施設の管理運営への協力が期待できます。

4.  地域のボードスポーツ文化の発展： 逗子・葉山地域にはサーフィン文化が根付いています。スケートボードとサーフィンのコミュニティが交流できる施設は、逗子ならではのボードスポーツ文化の発展につながります。

5.  スポーツを通じた成長の機会： 日本のスケートボード選手は世界トップレベルで活躍しています。身近に安全な練習環境を整えることで、子どもたちが技術や自信、創造性を育む機会を提供できます。

6.  地域全体への貢献： 公共スケートパークは、スポーツ施設にとどまらず、青少年の健全な成長や地域交流を促す公共空間となります。市民、利用者、地域住民及び行政が協力し、逗子市にふさわしい施設を整備することが重要です。

Petition for a Safe and Accessible Public Skatepark in Zushi City

[Purpose of the Petition]

We call for the development of a public skatepark in Zushi City that can be used safely and comfortably by everyone, from children to adults.

We request that the development of the facility be considered through cooperation between citizens, users, local residents, experienced skateboarders, instructors, and the city administration. We also ask that the location, facility design, management and operation, safety measures, and noise mitigation measures be carefully considered, with due regard for Zushi City's natural environment, local culture, and surrounding neighborhoods.

Reasons for the Petition
1.     Lack of Safe Facilities: Zushi has no public skatepark, and the homemade obstacles at Zushi Daiichi Sports Park are deteriorating, limiting safe places to practice.

2.     Accessibility: Children and young people must travel to other cities to skateboard, creating time and financial burdens for families. A local facility would make skateboarding more accessible.

3.     Strong Local Community: Zushi has an active skateboarding community, including experienced skaters and instructors who can help promote safe use, support beginners, and contribute to the facility's management.

4.     Local Board Sports Culture: Surfing is deeply rooted in Zushi and Hayama. A skatepark would bring local skateboarding and surfing communities together and strengthen Zushi's board sports culture.

5.     Growing Sporting Opportunities: With Japanese skateboarders competing at the highest international level, a local skatepark would give children a safe place to develop their skills, confidence, and creativity.

6.     Community Benefits: A public skatepark would provide a valuable space for sport, youth development, and community interaction, developed in cooperation with residents, users, and the city.
