[Problem Details]
On a Japanese live TV program(Abema Prime), a female celebrity Ayaka Ikezawa said,
- "We WOMEN do NOT need to see HUSBANDS AS EQUAL HUMAN BEINGS. JUST TREAT THEM like PETS".
And She has NOT even APOLOHIZED YET.
LET US PROTEST!!!
The video posted on YouTube by the official Abema Prime channel received the following comments (translated from Japanese).
-
In this episode, a woman on the show said that men should be treated like pets, although it was cut out in the YouTube video. It's a completely derogatory comment about men. The comment section was ablaze during the live broadcast, but she (and Broadcaster) didn't say anything and didn't apologize. I think it's clearly a problem. If "OlymPIG" is derogatory to women, "men are pets," which is a more direct expression, is nothing but derogatory to men. The current society that talks about gender equality, but doesn't consider this derogatory remark about men to be a problem is the society of Female Supremacy. To be honest, I was disappointed with Abema Prime.
Behind the feminists' loud cry for women's rights, the rights of MEN WHO HAVE NO SUPPORT FRPM ANYONE are now BEING VIOLATED BY SOME WOMEN.
Feminists call for gender equality, but it is only "gender equality from the PERSPECTIVE OF ONLY WOMEN".
They rarely raise their voices when men's rights are violated.
That is why men themselves must speak up, rather than leaving it to feminists.
[The people affected by this problem]
A man with developmental disabilities can no longer sleep at night without sleeping pills and anti-anxiety medication.
In Japan, a man who said that "women talk too much" was forced to take responsibility and resign.
Why is it that women who say "men are just pets for women" never take responsibility, or even apologize? As the initiator of this petition, I am so frustrated that I cannot sleep.
Some might argue that women have historically had their rights violated by men and should be protected, so a little payback should be tolerated.
However, there are two problems with this view.
I will discuss these two points next.
- The claim that "women have historically had their rights violated by men" is the result of feminists and gender scholars taking an aspect of history SUBJECTIVELY and studying it, and is NEVER A STRAIGHTFORWARD FACT (OBJECTIVE).
(It's not that society is male-dominated,
it's that SOCIOLOGISTS' VIEWPOINTS ARE FEMALE-DOMINATED.) - The status of "those who should be protected" is not for women only.
Men, who are more vulnerable than others due to developmental disabilities, mental disorders, HSP, etc., also deserve to be protected.
I also have developmental disabilities (ADHD and ASD). One of the characteristics of the disabilities is having a strong obsession with certain things.
In my case, this obsession manifested itself in the logic that "if we're talking about gender equality, then the perspective from which we argue for it should also be gender equality."
I am not satisfied with the current situation where disparaging remarks about men are allowed to go unchallenged in the name of women's rights.
If we are allowed to do anything to the "strong" as long as we say we are "weak", then the real weak people are those who are labeled as "strong", aren't they?
(I will call this the "First Paradox of the Weak")
[SOLUTION]
Speak up, make them apologize, and realize men's rights!
Liberals can only save the "stronger weak" and not the "weaker weak". This is a natural consequence that follows from epistemology.
Let's do a thought experiment to understand the limits of our perception.
Here are two weak people, Hanako and Taro.
- Hanako is a "stronger weak".
Stronger weak still has the strength to speak up and ask for help. - Taro is a "weaker weak".
Weaker weak has lost more strength than "stronger weak" and does not even have the strength left to ask for help.
Now here comes the "human rights agent" as a savior who wants to save the weak.
The human rights agent says, "Please raise your hand if you are in trouble.
Hanako is the only one who can summon the strength to raise her hand and ask for help from the human rights agent.
However, Taro did not raise his hand because he did not have the strength to do so.
As a result, the human rights agent could not notice Taro's weakness and did not even consider him as a target for relief.
This is the limit of our humanity's perception.
(Let's call this the "second paradox of the weak.)
What I want to say through this "thought experiment" is that "no matter how troubled we are, if we don't speak up and ask for help, we will be regarded as not being troubled. In fact, the reason why people who shout loudly for human rights often only take the side of women and treat men as the bad guys is because men are not strong enough to speak up.
If we turn a blind eye to the violent rhetoric against men by women like Ikezawa and continue to put up with it, no one will make the world a better place for men. They will assume that "if men don't speak up, then men aren't in trouble," and the world will become a better place for women.
If a man is insulted, she should be made to bow down, regardless of gender. This is the first step to make men realize that they are human beings with human rights, just like women.
[My feelings]
I want women to know what men are going through.
When women assert their rights, they say, "I want men to understand how women feel".
I feel exactly the same way about women.
Through TV news and school education, they somehow assume that they live in a male-dominated world, where men are the bad guys (and women are the victims), but they never think about the fact that women are also bad guys (and men are also victims).
I feel that there are many such women out there today.
I want such women to know about the "First and Second Paradoxes of the Weak*".
These are the things I would like to appeal to the world through this signature campaign.
Thank you very much for reading this far. I would appreciate your warm support.
(*Paradoxes of the Weak:
1st:
If there is a rule that says you can be unreasonable to the strong because you are "weak," then in that rule, it is the "strong" who are really weak.
2nd: The weaker the weak, the more they lose the opportunity to be perceived as weak, and consequently the greater the risk of being misunderstood as strong.)
