6月23日、DeNAのパッケージが届きました。今日まで、DeNAから何の返事もありませんでした。正直なところ、このまま何も返事が来ないのではないかと思い始めていました。
しかし、今日になって
Gmailのアプリが日本語でこのメールを通知してくれたので、非常に驚きました。そこで、DeNAからの最後のメールをコピーペーストしてみました。個人情報保護のため、一部を編集しています。

では、「歌マクロス」のオフライン配信はあるのでしょうか？
残念ながら、ないと思います。マクロスシリーズの版権はかなり混乱しており、DeNAはマクロスの資産や楽曲を使用する期限付きのライセンスしか持っていなかったと思うんです。現在、ハーモニーゴールド社、ビッグウエスト社、ソニー社、その他関係者の間で契約が交わされていますが、このDeNAとビッグウエスト社の5年間の契約を超えてゲームを作ることはできないだろうと思います。
いずれにせよ、私たちはこの成果を誇りに思うことができると思います。このプロジェクトは、ある企業に対して、自分たちの顧客が短期間で動員され、自分たちの希望を表現できることを示したのです。この活動を始めてよかったと思いますし、個人的にはこの署名に賛同してくれた皆さんに感謝したいと思います。
翻訳を手伝ってくれたMochi、嘆願書を共有してくれたGigaSPX、そして素敵な「歌マクロスII」アートブック（こちら：https://okilies.neocities.org/ishtar/sonatina.html）を提供してくれたNAANに特に感謝しています。

We apologize for taking so long to reply to you.
We have received the letter you sent the other day and have reviewed its contents with our management team.
We were very moved by your kind and heartwarming words and the content of your letter.
We are surprised and grateful for the support we have received from 1202 people from 51 countries around the world.
As for your request for the release of an offline version, we cannot make any promises.
However, we would like to express our sincere thanks to all of you for your support over the past 5 years until the end of the service, and for the beautifully organized feedback from so many of you.

So, will we have an offline release of Uta Macross?
Unfortunately, I think we will not. Macross franchise copyrights are quite a mess, and I think DeNA had only a time-limited license to use Macross assets and songs. With current agreements between Harmony Gold, Big West, Sony and others stakeholders, I’m quite sure the game could not go beyond this 5 years agreement between DeNA and Big West.
In any case, I think we can be proud of what we achieve. We showed a company how their own customers could mobilize in a short time to express their wish. I’m glad to have started this initiative, and I personally wish to thank you all for your support on this petition.

It was the first time (and probably the last time) of my life I was supported by more than one thousand people. That was great. Now, I’m fading back in the shadows…
