安倍元首相の銃撃事件が私たちに提起した問題は、政治と宗教の癒着だけではない。真の狙撃手と依頼人の影があり、その核心に迫る必要がある。

安倍元首相の治療にあたった奈良県立医科大学付属病院の福島教授は会見で「頸部の真ん中と右側の2ヶ所に銃創があり、頸部から入った銃弾が心臓に到達、左肩に射出口らしき傷がある」と述べている。一方、司法解剖結果報道では、銃弾は左上腕部から入って頸部から出たとされている。さらに県警は首のもう1カ所の傷については、銃弾によるものかは分からないと説明している。ここで、双方の報告に相違が見受けられる。

安倍元首相の心臓を撃ち抜いた弾丸は、山上氏による背後からの軌道とは反対側の上方向から撃たれたものでは、との説が浮上している。元首相が演説をしていた場所の前には、南都銀行ビルとサンワシティビルが建ち並んでいる。この２棟のビルの屋上あるいは上階の空きテナントの窓から狙撃したスナイパーの存在が、当局ではない一般の国民の間で囁かれている。

犯行当時山上氏は、照準器もない銃を、立ち止まることなく、あまりにもスムーズに取り出し発砲している。第三者を巻き込まないように配慮して、このような狙撃手口になるものだろうか。あるいは、自分の放った弾が当たることはないとわかっていたからこその行動ではないのか。
