　2018年11月、3名の学生（写真左から、髙田暁典君・阿津良典君・吉田耕君）が逮捕され、「建造物侵入罪」で起訴されました。容疑は「京都大学構内に立ち入ってビラを撒いた」というものです。3名は京都大学の軍事研究や立て看板規制に反対し、宣伝や抗議活動を行っていた学生です。その彼らに対して京都大学は学生の自治権、思想の自由を無視して一方的に退学処分や立入禁止の通告を行い、今回逮捕・起訴させたのです。3名は今も獄中に囚われています。直ちに3名の保釈決定または勾留取り消しを行うよう求めます。

   We, the signatories, seek the immediate release of three students named Akinori Takata, Ryosuke Azu and Koh Yoshida, indicted in November, 2018 for "burglary" into Kyoto University.
   They have protested the university's policies such as military research and regulation of signboards. The authority of the university, violating students' autonomy and freedom of thought, dismissed them and banned them from entering its site. It is unfair that they have been in prison for months.
