Our traditional dress is not something we willingly give away. However, this television series, "Scarlet Heart Thailand," has audaciously taken our cultural attire, twisted it, and presented it as part of their series. Sacred to us, this Burmese cultural symbol has been misused, and it poses a significant cultural appropriation issue that cannot be overlooked.

I call upon all concerned individuals and relevant authorities to join us in petitioning against the broadcast of this series if they continue to disregard the essence of our traditional attire. The failure to acknowledge the authenticity and origin of the Burmese dress diminishes its value and disrespects our heritage. The producers of Scarlet Heart Thailand must address this and cease their misrepresentations.
