Facebook เป็นส่วนสำคัญของชีวิตประจำวันของเราทั้งในการติดต่อสื่อสารกับเพื่อนและครอบครัว และในการทำธุรกิจเล็ก ๆ แต่ผู้ใช้ Facebook จำนวนมากในประเทศไทยกำลังประสบปัญหา บัญชีถูกระงับโดยไม่ทราบสาเหตุ แม้ไม่ได้โพสต์คอมเมนต์หรือทำอะไรผิดกฎเลย

ปัญหานี้เกิดจาก ระบบ AI ของ Facebook ที่ตรวจจับบัญชีผิดพลาด โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งกับบัญชีใหม่ ผู้ใช้ทั่วไปมักมี มือถือ 1 เครื่อง, ซิม 1 เบอร์, Wi-Fi บ้าน 1 อัน และใช้บัญชีเพียงไม่กี่บัญชี แต่ระบบกลับมองว่า “ข้อมูลซ้ำ = เคยทำผิด” ทำให้บางคนสมัครบัญชีใหม่ด้วยชื่อจริงและข้อมูลจริง แต่ก็ถูกระงับทันที นั่นหมายความว่าผู้ใช้ไม่สามารถใช้ชื่อจริงของตัวเองบนแพลตฟอร์มได้อีก แล้วทำไมเราต้องซื้อมือถือใหม่ เปิดเบอร์ใหม่ ใช้ Wi-Fi ใหม่เพื่อใช้เพลตฟอร์มนี้โดยราบรื่น ซึ่งมันไม่สมเหตุสมผลเลยกับการใช้งานในชีวิตจริง

นอกจากนี้ กระบวนการอุทธรณ์ก็ซับซ้อนและไม่แฟร์ ผู้ใช้บางคนถูกบังคับให้ล็อกอินบัญชีที่ถูกระงับก่อน ซึ่งเป็นไปไม่ได้ ทำให้ ไม่สามารถเข้าถึงหลักฐานหรือพิสูจน์ตัวเองได้ Facebook เพียงอ้างอิงกฎชุมชนที่กว้าง ๆ และกำกวม ทำให้ผู้ใช้รู้สึกว่า ถูกโยนความผิดโดยไม่สามารถแก้ต่างได้

ผลกระทบจากปัญหานี้รุนแรง ทั้งการสื่อสารส่วนตัวสูญเสียช่องทาง การสูญเสียข้อมูลสำคัญ และความเสียหายต่อธุรกิจเล็ก ๆ นอกจากนี้ยังลดความเชื่อมั่นในการใช้แพลตฟอร์ม ซึ่งควรเป็นพื้นที่ที่ผู้ใช้สามารถพึ่งพาได้

เราขอเรียกร้องให้ Facebook/Meta:

1. ปรับปรุงระบบ AI ให้ตรวจจับบัญชีอย่างถูกต้องและเป็นธรรม โดยคำนึงถึง ชีวิตจริงหลักความเป็นจริงของผู้ใช้ ไม่ใช่แค่ IP, อุปกรณ์ หรือซิม
2. เปิดช่องทางอุทธรณ์ที่เข้าถึงได้จริง และไม่บังคับให้ล็อกอินบัญชีที่ถูกระงั
3. เคารพข้อมูลผู้ใช้จริง เพื่อให้ผู้สมัครบัญชีใหม่สามารถใช้ชื่อและข้อมูลตัวเองโดยไม่ถูกมองว่าผิดพลาดซ้ำ
4. ต้องมีการส่งมอบหลักฐานชัดเจนเมื่อระบุว่าผู้ใช้ทำผิดกฎจริง เพื่อให้ผู้ใช้สามารถตรวจสอบและแก้ต่างได้ เป็นการแสดงความโปร่งใสและความบริสุทธิ์

ปัญหานี้ทำให้เกิดคำถามสำคัญ: แล้ว Facebook ยังอยากให้ผู้ใช้จริง ๆ ใช้แพลตฟอร์มหรือไม่?

Facebook is an essential part of our daily lives, both for staying in touch with friends and family and for running small businesses. However, many Facebook users in Thailand are experiencing a serious problem: their accounts are being suspended without explanation, even though they have not posted, commented, or violated any rules.

This problem arises from Facebook’s AI system incorrectly detecting accounts, especially new ones. Most regular users have one phone, one SIM card, and one home Wi-Fi, and use only a few accounts. Yet the system treats “duplicate information = previously violated” as a reason to suspend accounts. As a result, some people who create new accounts with their real name and accurate information are immediately suspended. This means users cannot even use their real name on the platform. Why should anyone have to buy a new phone, get a new SIM card, or use a different Wi-Fi to use Facebook smoothly? This is clearly unreasonable in real-life use.

In addition, the appeal process is complex and unfair. Some users are forced to log in to the suspended account first, which is impossible, leaving them unable to access evidence or prove their innocence. Facebook only refers to broad and vague community standards, making users feel accused without any way to defend themselves.

The impact of this problem is serious: loss of communication, loss of important data, and harm to small businesses. It also undermines users’ trust in the platform, which should be a reliable space for everyone.

We therefore call on Facebook/Meta to:

1. Improve the AI system to detect accounts accurately and fairly, taking into account the real-life circumstances of users, not just IP addresses, devices, or SIM cards.
2. Provide an accessible appeal process that does not require logging in to a suspended account.
3. Respect users’ real information, so that new account creators can use their real names and data without being unfairly flagged.
4. Provide clear evidence whenever a user is accused of violating rules, allowing users to review and defend themselves. This ensures transparency and fairness.

This issue raises an important question: Does Facebook truly want real users to use the platform?
