*रोपवे थांबवा , गिधाडे वाचवा*

अंजनेरी आणि ब्रम्हगीरी पर्वतरांग या सह्याद्रीमध्ये महाराष्ट्राच्या वायव्य दिशेला नाशिक च्या पश्चिमेला असलेली एक उपरांग
जैवविवधतेच्या दृष्टीने अत्यंत महत्त्वाची असलेली ही रांग असून यातील अंजनेरी पर्वतावर जागतिक पातळीवर संकटग्रस्त असलेल्या तीन प्रजातीच्या गिधाड पक्ष्यांचा सुरक्षित अधिवास आहे . यात लांब चोचीचे गिधाड, पांढऱ्या पुष्ठाचे गिधाड आणि इजिप्शियन गिधाड यांचे घरटी पर्वताच्या वरच्या कातळ्यात असलेल्या कड्या कपारी मध्ये आहेत.
या पर्वतांवर रोपवे झाल्यास त्यांच्या अधीवास बाधित होऊन गिधाडांच्या प्रजननासाठी सुरक्षित असलेल्या अधिवसाला धोका निर्माण होणार आहे . रोपवे आणि त्यातून प्रवास करणारे प्रवासी यांच्या आवाजा मुळे आणि अतिरिक्त मानवी हस्तक्षेपा मुळे तेथील हालचालींमुळे गिधाडाना त्रास होईल .
एकीकडे गिधाड संवर्धनासाठी जागतिक पातळीवर उपक्रम घेतले जात आहे महाराष्ट्र भरात फक्त नाशिक ला अंजनेरी आणि ब्रम्हगिरी या रांगेत त्यांची संख्या वाढतांना दिसत आहे ही एक मोठी उपलब्धी मिळालेली असतांना या जागेवर रोपवे बनऊन त्यांची घर नष्ट करणे हे कितपत योग्य ठरेल,
तसेच रोपवे मुळे तेथे पर्यटकांची संख्या देखील वाढेल आणि वाढत्या पर्यटनामुळे गिधाड तसेच इतर जैवविविधतेच्या प्रत्येक घटकाच्या नैसर्गिक अधिवासाला तीव्र धोका होणार . गिधाडांप्रमाणे जागतिक पातळीवर धोकाग्रस्त असलेल्या कंदील पुष्पाचे अनेक प्रकार अंजनेरी वर आढळतात त्यात प्रामुख्याने जगाच्या पाठीवर फक्त अंजनेरी पर्वतावरच अधिवास असलेले अंजनेरी कंदील पुष्प (सेरोपेजिया अंजनेरिका) या नावाची एक प्रदेशनिष्ठ वनस्पती आढळते जी संपूर्ण जगात कोठेही नाही त्यासोबतच बिबट , तरस, खोकड , वानर, माकड, रानमांजर, मुंगूस , विविध प्रजातीचे सर्प यात श्रेणी १ मधील भारतीय अजगर , भारतीय अंडीखाऊ सर्प, दुर्मिळ फुलपाखरे यात महाराष्ट्राचे राज्य फुलपाखरू ब्ल्यू मॉरमॉन ,भारताचा राष्ट्रीय पक्षी मोर तसेच भरपूर औषधी वनस्पतींचा गड देखील अंजनेरी पर्वतरांग आहे , गडमाथ्यावर भगवान हनुमानाचे मंदिर आहे आणि नेमकं त्याच परिसरात अनेक दुर्मिळ वनौषधी वनस्पती तसेच काही संकटग्रस्त वनस्पती आहेत . या ठिकाणी पर्यटकांची गर्दी झाल्यास कुठे ना कुठे या सजीव सृष्टीवर आघात होणार हे निश्चित . नाशिक वनविभाग आणि सामाजिक संस्था अंजनेरीची जैवविविधता टिकवण्यासाठी नेहमी मेहनत करत असतात आपण टिकवलेला हा वारसा जपला जाणे अत्यंत आवश्यक आहे . आपले मुख्यमंत्री श्री उद्धव साहेब ठाकरे हे पर्यावरण प्रेमी आहेत आणि ते नक्कीच या कामाला स्थगिती देतील अशी अपेक्षा .

Ranmanjar, mongoose, various species of snakes, including category 1 Indian python, Indian egg-eating snake, rare butterfly in the state of Maharashtra butterfly Blue MormonThe peacock, the national bird of India, is also a fortress rich in medicinal plants. If there is a crowd of tourists in this place, it is certain that this living creature will be affected somewhere. Nashik Forest Department and social organizations are always working hard to preserve the biodiversity of AnjaneriIt is very important to preserve this heritage that we have preserved. Our Chief Minister Shri Uddhav Saheb Thackeray is an environmentalist and it is expected that he will definitely postpone this work.
