I signed the petition last week, but I have been meaning to write you for a while, my apologies for the delay in responding. The news you shared with us saddened, but I was happy to read about your progress in the postponement of the demolition.
I brought the topic at the office and discussed it with our principal, who is board member of the Icomos National Comittee in Spain. We think that a good way of moving forward would be for you to contact international organizations such as Icomos, as we believe they have the reach and tools for addressing this kind of negotiation. You might have already considered this and even already taken that step, my apologies if you have already done it but we thought it would be good to remind you just in case that contacting Icomos is a viable option. I haven't seen a Russian Icomos Comittee on the Icomos website, so our suggestion (if you haven't done this yet) is for you to contact either any other National Comittee, or the Icomos International Secretariat. Other options would be contacting institutions such as World Monuments Fund or Global Heritage Fund.
