Masha the bear is not the only one who has been tortured at a hunting dogs’ baiting station! Details of another egregious case have just become known. Another bear, which was used for baiting in Chelyabinsk region, was secretly sold to Bashkiria, and, according to incoming information, it may have been shot and sold for organs, and nobody will ever find him.

The animal came to him, most likely as a bear cub, when the small creature’s mother was killed. Orphaned bear cubs are often left for baiting at these stations.

By 2021, the animal could barely lift its head, and was all in wounds. The chain on which he was held had grown into his neck. The neck was rotting. The cage stood in the swamp of the bear’s urine and feces, and in this swamp he ate, slept, and lived. He was barely fed, and he drank water mixed with urine from his own footprints.

On April 18, Solovsky sold it to a buyer from Bashkiria.
Despite the efforts made, no traces of the bear have been found. The buyer may have simply got rid of it.
This is the “common” end of all baiting animals. They just can’t ever leave these death camps.
The real culprits of sadism are dog breeders. Animals are tortured for the sake of their commercial interest!
This case will be included in the bank of charges against baiting stations in Russia!
We have applied to the Federal Service for Supervision of Nature Management in the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic to search for the bear.
