I am writing to ask you to consider adding the Belarusian language version to Instagram. It will allow Belarusians to use the app in their native language.

 The Belarusian language was determined to be the mother tongue of 5,094,928 Belarusians with a total population of 9,413,446 according to the census conducted in Belarus in 2019.

 At the moment, Belarusians do not have the opportunity to use one of the most popular applications in the world in their mother tongue. Therefore, many of us have to choose a non-native language, which causes inequality on the basis of language.

 We have seen many times how Facebook and Instagram have supported people in the struggle for democracy, justice, for equal rights and opportunities.

 Adding the Belarusian language version would be exceptional support for the democratically oriented part of the Belarusian society.

 The initiator of the petition and a number of volunteers are ready to help with the translation to give us such an opportunity.

 We would really appreciate if you could add the Belarusian language version to the app, which would allow Belarusian Instagram users to stay with you.

 Просім дадаць беларускую моўную версію ў Instagram, каб даць магчымасць беларусам карыстацца аплікацыяй на сваёй роднай мове.

 Беларуская мова была вызначана роднай для 5.094.928 жыхароў Беларусі пры агульнай папуляцыі 9.413.446 чалавек паводле перапісу насельніцтва  Беларусі ў 2019 годзе.

 На даны момант беларусы не маюць магчымасці скарыстаць з адной з найпапулярнейшых аплікацыі ў свеце. Такім спосабам многія выбіраюць няродную мову, што стварае няроўнасць  паводле моўнай прыкметы.

 Мы шмат разоў бачылі, як Facebook і Instagram падтрымлівалі людзей у барацьбе за дэмакратыю, за справядлівасць, за роўнасць правоў і магчымасцяў.

 Даданне беларускай мовы было бы выключнай падпорай для дэмакратычна-скіраванай часткі грамадства Беларусі.

 Ініцыятар петыцыі і шэраг ахвотнікаў гатовыя дапамагчы ў перакладзе, калі дадуць нам такую магчымасць.

 Такім парадкам, калі ласка, дадайце беларускую мову ў аплікацыю Instagram, каб беларускія карыстальнікі заўсёды заставаліся з вамі праз беларускай мовы!
