Бывший государственный министр непризнанной республики Нагорного Карабаха Рубен Варданян 27 сентября был похищен азербайджанской стороной при попытке перейти КПП в Лачинском коридоре. В связи с агрессией со стороны Азербайджана 19-20 сентября все армянское население Нагорно-Карабахской республики вынуждены переселятся из своих домов в Армению, так как в противном случае они могут быть подвержены физическому истреблению. За двое суток границу пересекли более 50 тысяч беженцев. К сожалению, при попытке покинуть Нагорный Карабах вместе с тысячами других армян был взят в плен общественно-политический деятель и меценат, гражданин Армении Рубен Варданян, что является грубым нарушением прав человека.  Жизни и здоровью Варданяна грозит опасность. Требуем передать политзаключенного армянской стороне 

Former state minister of the unrecognized republic of Nagorno-Karabakh Ruben Vardanyan was kidnapped by the Azerbaijani side on September 27 while trying to cross a checkpoint in the Lachin corridor. As a result of the Azerbaijani attack launched on September 19-20, the entire Armenian population of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic are forced to flee their homes, as otherwise they may be subject to torture and starvation from Azerbaijan’s hostile policies and ethnic cleansing of Christians. In two days, more than 50 thousand forcibly displaced persons crossed the border and settled in Armenia. Unfortunately, while trying to leave Nagorno-Karabakh, along with thousands of other Armenians, socio-political figure and philanthropist, citizen of Armenia, Ruben Vardanyan was captured, which is a gross violation of human rights. Vardanyan’s life and health are in danger. We demand that the political prisoner be handed over to the Armenian side.
