Our community has been zoned for single-family, two-story residences, securing an essential balance between human settlement and the preservation of our local environment. We stand on the edge of a precipice as a large national developer intends to construct a multi-family housing development, which threatens this balance.

This developer plans the destruction of 17 acres of our wilderness, replacing it with high-density housing for over 400 residents (130+ units). Our community's character and ecological integrity are at risk of irreversible harm. 

The impacts of this development on our environment, local infrastructure, and community cohesiveness are too significant to overlook. There is a real danger—the loss of our region's biodiversity and a significant increase in traffic and noise pollution in our quiet neighborhood, among many other adverse effects.

It's essential that local zoning laws, designed to protect our communities and their character, are upheld. We must oppose this development to safeguard our neighborhood's future.
