Save Our Targets!

Target has announced the shock closure of 53 stores around the country, many in regional areas. Many others are being converted into Kmarts. 

Local families in towns around the country depend on these stores. Some people will have to travel more than two-and-a-half hours for essential purchases. 

But many people in local communities are fighting back, starting petitions either calling for the stores to remain open, or be converted into Kmarts. These concerned locals are getting the attention of media as well as Westfarmers (the company that owns Target and Kmart).
