End Nonconsensual Intimate Exams

In dozens of states, medical students can perform pelvic, prostate, and rectal exams on unconscious people – without their explicit consent. Often, the exams aren’t even related to the treatment the patient is receiving – they are purely for training purposes.
Hundreds of thousands of people are taking action to hold teaching hospitals to account and stop this practice – and the pressure is working. Thanks to a comprehensive bill passed in CT, hospitals will be required to get express written consent on a separate consent form for any intimate examination – a huge win for the movement. Now, activists are pushing for similar bills to be passed in New Mexico, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania.
Join the movement to protect patients across the US and make explicit consent the rule, not the exception.
