Between 300,000 and 1 million British nationals are said to be stranded abroad. This has led to campaigns calling for Foreign Office intervention to bring them home. Campaigns have been started to help those stranded include those in the following countries: New Zealand, India, Peru, Cambodia, Pakistan, Dubai, Ghana, Australia, Egypt.
