Many candidates, who are in the age group of 28-30 years, are preparing for these exam thinking the age criteria will be same as in earlier IBPS PO II Exam (Maximum age cri. So, if the intimation regarding change in age criteria is declared at last moment, then - 

1. The hard work, which has been done by these candidates in last so many months (at times year) will go waste. 

2. Their dream of being a banker will be shattered at the last moment 

3. Many candidates have left their private jobs and are preparing for IBPS Bank Exams. Their future will be in dark as they will not be able to apply in any bank at officer level.

 

So, we request, that if IBPS want to bring this criteria, then it should come from IBPS PO 4 (and not from IBPS PO 3), so that candidates are mentally prepared for the same. Also, IBPS will be able to recruit on the basis on merit, not undermining the capability of young people in the age group of 28-30 years.
