Nadine Dorries, an elected Member of Parliament, has abandoned her constituents for up to 4 weeks to take part in a reality TV show. By doing so she will miss important debates and sessions in the House of Commons and will not be giving her constituents a voice in Parliament.

As one of her constituents, I feel that she is no longer fit to serve in the House Of Commons and should be recalled immediately by her local party and constituents prompting a by-election.

At the 2010 General Election all three main party manifestos called for the electorate to have the power of recall yet currently no legislation has been passed. If enough people from Mid Bedfordshire and around the country sign this petition, it will highlight the need for this to get through Parliament and allow her constituents the opportunity to sack Nadine Dorries.
