Plans to develop the Powerhub site in Maidstone include the removal of the only cycle access to the town centre from the west side of the river into the town centre. This will cut off many people from being able to cycle into the town centre (including me), and make people on foot have to make large detours to cross the river. This scheme is completely inappropriate and extremely damaging for Maidstone.
