Amend proposed legislation aimed at banning price guides on properties going to auction in QLD.

Amend proposed legislation aimed at banning price guides on properties going to auction in QLD.

The issue

Nine out of 10 people pass over a property for sale if no price is listed according to research from realestate.com.au.

So why does the Queensland Government want to make it illegal for real estate agents to provide a price guide for properties going to auction?

Agents and vendors should have the option to use a price guide - or not - to market a property as they choose.

Should real estate agents be completely banned from providing price guides for properties going to auction as proposed?

If you believe the decision to use a price guide should be made by the vendor and the agent - not the government - please sign our petition.
