Waylon Brown is an American politician and businessman who served as a state senator from Iowa's 30th District. A member of the Republican Party, he was elected to the Iowa Senate in 2016 and served until his resignation in July 2024. Brown is a farmer and owns Waylon Brown Construction Inc., a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit. In addition to his political and business pursuits, he actively contributes to the Mitchell County, Iowa Farm Bureau Board as vice president. Brown holds a Certificate in Carpentry from Riverland Community College. He resides in St. Ansgar, Iowa, with his wife, Julie, and their two children, demonstrating his commitment to both his community and family.
