Travis L. Fliehman is the current judge of the Darke County Common Pleas Court, General Division, having been sworn in on December 22, 2022. He succeeded Judge Jonathan P. Hein after being unanimously selected by the Darke County Republican Central Committee to fill the vacancy left by Hein's resignation. Fliehman brings a wealth of legal experience and community involvement to his role. Fliehman grew up on a farm in Clinton County, Ohio. He attended The Ohio State University, where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics in 1993. He later earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Dayton School of Law in 1999. After law school, he worked in the Litigation Department of a large Cincinnati law firm before establishing his practice in Darke County in 2009. His legal practice focused on various areas including business and corporate law, estate planning, elder law, guardianship, personal injury, and civil litigation.
