Sakievich has served in various prominent roles, including as a Staff Non-Commissioned Officer and Operations Officer in the U.S. Marine Corps. He also managed the Marine Corps Reserve at the U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Reserve, and worked as a Systems Engineer and Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
