In addition to his music career, Hicks has ventured into politics and business in the United States. He holds a high school diploma from Daniel Boone High School and has served as a Representative for District 6 in the Tennessee House of Representatives. Hicks is also the owner of Hicks Construction, where he works as a contractor.
